NIS 2, DORA, DSGVO, CRA – the list of cybersecurity and data protection regulations is growing. While it used to be only specific industries (banks, utilities) or critical infrastructures that were regulated in terms of security, current regulations affect many more companies than before.
NIS 2 (Network and Information Security Directive of the EU) directly affects large parts of the SME sector (companies with more than 50 employees in a total of 16 sectors) and indirectly (via the supply chain) also many small and micro enterprises, which have to prove the existence of basic cyber security to their customers affected by NIS 2.
